About me

Hi, my name is Joseph Steinbart and I am a private violin/viola teacher. While primarily a string player and teacher, I do tune pianos on the side. Piano tuning has interested me for many years. After graduating with my MM in Viola Performance in the Spring of 2020 I pursued piano tuning with Piano Technician Academy. Since that time, I have been tuning pianos and doing minor repairs on pianos in Southeast Wisconsin. 

When not teaching, conducting, performing, practicing, and tuning, I enjoy woodworking, baking, reading, and spending time with family.
